Lowell’s looks like a little coffee shop & diner when looking into all of our 6 doors. These are our southernmost doors that open into the “Heart of the Market” and are at the base of our stairs leading up to our “hideaway bar” on our second floor, and even further up to our third floor dining room!
With all three floors viewing over the waterfront with wall to wall windows, we have been awarded “Best Unexpected View Restaurant” by Seattle’s WHERE MAGAZINE, and for obvious reasons. Looking into the arcade, or look into LOWELL’S from the arcade, who would imagine, unless you’re one of our many repeat visitors from around the world, daily locals or celebrities seeking a corner of privacy from the constant attention of recognition.
But it is this view, (but one floor up on our second floor), where we also have booths looking back into the arcade in addition to the opposite side’s panoramic windows, that is the most interesting! People watching from above, while taking a break with breakfast, lunch or dinner; cocktails, local ales or a glass of wine, this is one of the unique places you can easily miss unless you know it’s there,
Head in, head up, and take a break from the crowds with a view back into them, and enjoy private moments “right in the middle of the heart” where we are very lucky to be…
Cheers!

Pike Place Market, recognized world wide as the oldest continually operated public farmers’ market in the United States, is both the destination in Seattle not to be missed, but also the focus of internationally recognized artists! Here you’ll see an “intaglio print etching” made by the famous artist Ed Ruscha of our “Public Market” sign that hovers over City Fish, six doors north Of Lowell’s entrance. Just one of the many incredible vintage neon signs around the market, which are an interesting tour unto themselves. (Lowell’s has two of the many, one in the main arcade, and one over the door leading into the main arcade from the Pike Place cobblestones. Check out all of the Pike Place neon signs, they’re “Smithsonian” worthy!
Today’s breakfast special, another great Lowell’s Egg Benedict today. Lowell’s constructs many unique Eggs Benedicts EVERY DAY, not only on weekends or Sundays like everywhere else. In addition to our three signature Benedicts (Dungeness Crab Benedict, Smoked Wild King Salmon Benedict & the Classic Benedict with Canadian Bacon) today we’re also making our “Yakima Eggs Benedict” consisting of the same great rustic rosemary toast, poached local farm fresh eggs and herb Hollandaise sauce but also thick smoked American bacon, tomato slices, spinach and on the side our fresh avocado salsa fresca. (And crispy old-school hash brown potatoes, of course.)
