GO SEAHAWKS, GO 12TH MAN!

The Happiest Restaurant & Bar in Pike Place Market!

Fresh, Local, Quality, Historic, Current, Sincere Joy; with Beautiful Views from all 3 floors both inside & out.

The sunset from Lowell’s 2nd & 3rd floors competes with the sun rising from the east pitching a glow atop the snow peaks of The Olympic Mountain’s across the Puget Sound as ferries twinkling lights cross Elliott Bay.

Every day is a blessing in our “home away from home” when we wake up with the market, and then pull down the shades in the evening. For over 57 years (as Lowell’s, 106 years as the premier gathering spot for tourists and locals side by side) we never have tired of where we are and what we get in the heart of Pike Place Market!

Join us, and see for yourself. We’ll walk the walk, as opposed to talking the talk without the walk!

Lowell’s offers 2 different Joe’s Scramble’s now, Sausage or Turkey!

Our Joe’s Scramble is already super popular, but sometimes there are guest’s that don’t eat pork. Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Canadian Bacon; all typical breakfast staples. Of course our Corned Beef Hash is incredible, and a no pork option, but we need to increase options.

Our Joe’s Scramble has farm fresh eggs scrambled with home-made sausage, mushrooms, green onions, spinach and Parmesan cheese on top.

Well this morning a gentleman requested one without sausage and, light bulb of simplicity sparks on, we suggested he substitute fresh roasted turkey breast chopped up in it at no additional charge instead.

Rave review, done deal, new menu item! Just like when Todd suggested the “Todd’s Bennie” and we started an Eggs Benedict with Corned Beef Hash version to add to the many selections of unique “Bennie’s” we offer. Boom, done deal.

I wish I had gotten his name, he’d be locally famous also, though Todd’s popularity is fast approaching world-wide internationally famous and will be global shortly I’m certain.

Lowell’s “Moscow Mule”, one of our all year around holiday traditions!

Triple distilled premium vodka, fresh squeezed lime and ice in a traditional Copper Mug topped with zesty Reed’s Ginger Beer (non-alcoholic, the ginger beer anyway) makes our Moscow Mules a tasty respite from the crowds of holidays shoppers pounding through the arcade grabbing all they’re fresh products for the dinners to follow!

The hot & spiked holiday drinks we concoct from what we find in the market are winter warmers, the Moscow Mule, even though over ice, warms us up in an invigorating way that propels us back outside. Try one or two, but please don’t steal our copper mugs (the lady on table twelve, whose purse fell over and the two mugs rolling across our floor like tumbling dice…) like the last 24 that disappeared!

Cheers to all, smiles everywhere, kindness everyone everywhere on a globe without borders!

MOSCOW MULE

Best day in Pike Place Market? Breakfast or lunch at Lowell’s overlooking the waterfront, kick around the market in every direction working up another appetite, and then…

head over to our friend Dan Bugge’s RADIATOR WHISKEY (also hidden away, like us, where the best gems are found) for great PIG, Sara’s amazing whiskey concoctions and the great revelry of living and loving and laughing that comes with the honesty and integrity of people doing what they love to do!

John over at Pure Food Fish put it best yesterday, when we crossed paths out on the cobblestones, when he said, “another beautiful day in our year around summer camp”!

I’ve made many, many friends over the 15 years I’ve operated Lowell’s with Bill, and look forward to making many, many more over the next 15 years. BUT I also have made many after work friends over at the RADIATOR while savoring two fingers of some unfound Rye or Bourbon that Sara or Justin have turned me onto.

Call ahead and reserve a whole roasted pig’s head (seriously unreal flavors of the moistest parts pulled right from the source), slide into a table with friends, and allow yourself the pleasure to continue what started with a Dungeness Crab Omelet in our house, and a most memorable day to think back on when you return to wherever you’re going back to.

Cheers daily, peace & love & laughter to every soul on earth! (and sorry for my punctuation, too many commas, parentheses and quotation marks, I realize this weakness;Sara Radiator I’m not in denial)
