We’re all loving Spring coming, as the best buskers stream back into the market for the next 8 or 9 months! Some of our favorites are the ones missed most when they’re not around, and when they return the vibes kick it up from some of the posers to the lifelong buskers that keep it real. Take out your earbuds and look and listen, and put down your phone-camera poles to experience the flavors at the source instead of back home in your living room. Some things don’t translate to your iPad!

My wife, Monique, and I visited Seattle in mid-July and found Lowell’s late one afternoon while visiting Pike’s Market. While waiting for a table on the second floor we meat Patrick, the bartender. He was a pleasure to speak with. We enjoyed Lowell’s so much that we returned for dinner the next evening and left for Victoria the next day but returned a week and a half later and Patrick not only remembered us but also what cocktails we drink. We will return to Seattle and to Lowell’s one day both for the terrific food and spend time once again with Patrick.

Patrick’s an awesome personality, isn’t he? We love him, he’s never having a bad day, and he’s a good friend to have on a fishing trip! Thanks for the nice words, and thanks for coming in!
