Buy a treasure for $10 bucks, we give it back to our neighbor’s that need it! Win-win.
If you follow music, art, and culture of the American South, sooner or later you’re bound to run into the letters, images, and unmistakable “look” of Hatch Show Print. They are one of the oldest working letterpress print shops in America, since 1879 (27 years before Lowell’s was built).
The irresistible appeal of turn-of-the-century Hatch posters, which were used to promote vaudeville, circus, and minstrel shows across the country as well as country stars, politicians and rock stars still. There’s a reason why music lovers, Americana buffs, graphic arts collectors and designers, and commercial advertisers of all persuasions continue to turn to Hatch for inspiration.
They are, indeed, a tonic for the information age.
We get together with Hatch to design our prints, to make money for our friends & neighbors that need it. Lowell’s has produced three limited edition posters over the past three years, giving over $5,000 to these charities from the sales. Thanks to all of you that have bought them, and thank you to anyone that wants to donate for the remaining run of this edition.
Cheers to all, Mark Monroe & Bill Chatalas
